As I reported on Saturday, the Monday through Friday Science Fiction and Fantasy network shows mostly struggled in the ratings last week. But the Friday night shows received some good news as all four saw increases in their numbers. Dollhouse rebounded from the 0.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic it saw last week (I had originally reported it as a 0.9 because I rounded up) and pulled a 1.0 rating and 2.25 million viewers. Still not stellar number, but at least it reversed its attrition, and I am still taking a pass on speculating its survival chances. Both of CBS’s paranormal shows improved their ratings and viewer total last week which follows a trend we saw last season with viewership increasing throughout the Fall. And Smallville also notched its numbers up as it pulled a 1.0 rating and 2.3 million viewers.
Here are the numbers for those shows:
| Title | Night/Time (EST) | Net | TS Rank | Repeat | Rating (18-49 Demo) | STD Avg | Total Viewers (Millions) | Cancellation Alert |
| Ghost Whisperer | Friday 8 PM | CBS | 1st | No | 2.1 | 2.0 | 8.60 | Low |
| Smallville | Friday 8 PM | CW | 5th | No | 1.0 | 1.0 | 2.30 | Low |
| Dollhouse | Friday 9 PM | FOX | 4th | No | 1.0 | 1.0 | 2.25 | No Guess |
| Medium | Friday 9 PM | CBS | 1st | No | 1.9 | 1.9 | 8.30 | Low |
