Highlights of the Week:

ash-saves-obamaIt doesn’t matter if you are a Democrat or a Republican, you can’t pass on issue #3 (of 4) of the Army of Darkness: Ash Saves Obama mini.  Ash is determined to get to Washington D.C. to get the last copy of the Necromonicon and save the president to boot!  The story and interior art on this one comes from the team of Elliot Serrano and Ariel Padilla.  Also hitting the stands this week is Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season Eight #30.  Buffy and her army face off against Twilight’s minions in the mountains of Tibet in the conclusion to this story.  And speaking of vampires, Vampirella Second Coming #3 also comes out this week.  Read as an army of Vampirellas tries to stop a plague from spreading across the globe!  Writer Phil Hester and artist Al Rio direct this re-invention of the classic character.
