Ratings Results for the Week of December 6th: Fringe Back Down

As most of the Fall shows have settled into their winter hiatuses now, there were only two Science Fiction and Fantasy shows with new episodes this past week, both on FOX. On Thursday, Fringe slipped back from the gains it saw last week as it had to contend with a new episode of CSI. It pulled a 2.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic which is still a tick higher that what it has averaged so far this season. Dollhouse saw a slight improvement from last week, most likely prompted by Summer Glau’s first appearance as a recurring character on the show. The first hour did better with 1.0 rating and 2.72 million viewers, then the second hour slacked off with a 0.8 rating and only 2.09 viewers.
